Over the past year, JFS has truly shown what it offers the community. After Hurricane Helene, we immediately mobilized to help those in need. Over the next several weeks we provided essential supplies to more than 2,000 individuals and families, including food, water, diapers, clothing, batteries, cleaning supplies and more. We had mental health counselors available, and held group sessions for community members to gather and process the devastation. We truly served as the beacon of help for those in need.
This has been our goal since we formed more than 20 years ago. We have grown tremendously serving Buncombe and Henderson Counties, offering services to individuals of all faiths with inclusivity and compassion.
If you're unable to attend The Art of Giving, but would like to support JFS of WNC, you can still make a donation. We appreciate all your support!
